GolfLogix makes top 10 list for iPhone apps

GolfLogix, based in Scottsdale, Ariz., has been listed as a one of the top 10 iPhone sports applications in the widely popular “For Dummies” book series.  The latest release, Incredible iPhone Apps for Dummies, highlights the best apps in 16 different categories.  GolfLogix shares the prestige with recognizable names such as ESPN, Fox Sports, MLB and CBS Sports.  All of the applications were selected and highlighted by the book’s author, Bob “Dr. Mac” LeVitus.  The book was written to assist iPhone users in selecting the best performers out of the 140,000 applications in the iTune’s App Store.  According to Wiley Publishing, Inc., “The book was the effort of several months of research to find quality apps that stood out from the rest.” The book is now available at Amazon.com.
